Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within our nursery premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all areas are hygienic and well-organised, supporting the overall wellbeing of children and staff. Previous experience in commercial cleaning is desired but not essential, as training will be provided. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a nurturing environment while working within a friendly, family run team.
Duties
- Perform daily cleaning of nursery rooms, play areas, toilets, and communal spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Disinfect toys, furniture, and surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure cleaning equipment is maintained in good condition.
- Follow health and safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop and dust all designated areas.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard.
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning is desirable
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleanliness.
- Good organisational skills for managing daily tasks efficiently.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
