Job Overview
Our company and vacancy – a small but busy motorhome dealership which is part of the Fiat Professional network. The company mainly deal with premium quality vehicles. We are seeking a parts co-ordinator, who will be responsible for managing the whole parts process, ensuring stock is available for the technicians to carry out their work. The site retails both new and used vehicles, mainly German built motorhomes.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who will be responsible for maintaining their own department and it’s processes. The workshop team is a small tight knit community who all work well as a team as well as individually. This is an ideal opportunity for someone to excel, maintain and improve the current processes. The work is varied and the successful candidate will be expected to deal with customers and staff directly.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08.00 - 17.00
20 days holidays per year, plus bank holidays which we do not work.
Key Responsibilities
Deal with suppliers and order parts as and when required
Ensure stock levels of stocked parts are maintained to a manageable level
Collate all paperwork and invoices for service and accounts department
Prepare estimates for customers
Communicate with the Motorhome manufacturers for spare parts and warrantable items.
Maintain effective parts department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
Arrange couriers for deliveries to customers and suppliers
Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
Ensure stocked parts are stored in correct areas
Key Requirements
Prior knowledge of vehicle parts supply chain
Experience in computer systems and be able to understand vehicle schematics in order to obtain correct parts
Excellent customer relation skills
Collaborating with service to ensure all parts for repair jobs are available
Technical knowledge of vehicles and functions
Knowledge of motorhomes would be advantageous but not essential
Experience in inventory management
Be able to negotiate with suppliers in order to maintain profitability
The ability to work as an individual or as part of a team
A full UK driving licence
Pay: £32,000.00 per year
