Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, ensuring high standards of presentation and quality
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Maintain hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Set up dining areas, including table arrangements and condiments, to ensure a welcoming environment
- Handle transactions accurately and process payments using the point-of-sale system
- Support barista duties if applicable, including making coffee and other beverages with precision
- Assist in maintaining stock levels and restocking supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines throughout all activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is preferred
- Experience in food preparation or restaurant environments will be advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends if necessary
- A positive attitude towards delivering exceptional customer service
