Care Without Compromise, a Choice Care sister company in Wales, supports people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and associated complex needs. With its own clinical team, Care Without Compromise has a particular expertise in understanding and supporting individuals with challenging behaviours. Specialist therapeutic services are integrated into the day to day person-centred support offered to the people we support, enabling them to progress towards a more meaningful and enjoyable daily life.
Staff are fully trained in Positive Behavioural Support and are encouraged to develop their skills and career with the company, providing consistency and stability in the services.
Overview of the role
Reporting to the Director of Services and Responsible Individual, the Service Manager’s role is to be responsible for the overall management and daily running of the service, in accordance with CIW standards and Company policies and procedures, with the end purpose of creating a safe, positive and happy environment for all residents. There is an opportunity to study to become a qualified Registered Manager.
The position requires extensive knowledge, including supervisory experience from working in Adult Social Care. You will need to have a professional approach with the ability to organise and prioritise, and a good knowledge of relevant codes of practice and legislation.
