Junior Boat Fitter – Canal Boats

We’re looking for a motivated Junior Boat Fitter to join our growing team, working on the fitting, refurbishment, and maintenance of canal boats. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants to build a career in the marine industry.
The Role
As a Junior Boat Fitter, you’ll work alongside experienced craftsmen, assisting with the installation and fitting of a wide range of boat components, including:
* Interior fixtures and fittings
* Plumbing and water systems
* Basic electrical installations
* Insulation and lining
* Flooring, cabinetry, and finishing work
* General repairs and refurbishment
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
What We’re Looking For
* A practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn
* Good attention to detail
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
* Basic DIY, carpentry, mechanical, or electrical experience is an advantage but not essential
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
