About Us
Siramico Coatings is a UK manufacturer of specialised paint, built around eco-friendly, sustainable resins. We supply customers directly through our own e-commerce channels and via Amazon Prime, moving fast-turnaround orders from our production floor straight out to homes and businesses across the country. As we grow, we're looking for a reliable, hands-on Packing Operative to join our warehouse team.
The Role
As a Packing Operative, you'll play a key part in getting our products safely and quickly from the factory to the customer's door. You'll be responsible for accurately packing paint products to a high standard, keeping pace with order volumes, and helping us maintain the speed and reliability our customers expect from Prime and online orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and label paint products ready for dispatch
- Check products for quality and damage before packing
- Ensure packaging meets safety standards for paint and liquid products
- Meet daily packing targets to support fast dispatch times (including Amazon Prime deadlines)
- Keep the packing area clean, organised, and safe
- Work as part of a team to manage busy periods and order spikes
- Report any stock, equipment, or quality issues to your supervisor
- Follow health & safety procedures at all times, particularly around handling paint and chemical products
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a warehouse, packing, or production environment is desirable but not essential — full training provided
- A reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Good attention to detail, especially when checking and labelling products
- Ability to work efficiently, especially during busy periods
- Comfortable with manual handling and standing for extended periods
- A team player who's happy to pitch in wherever needed
- Basic literacy and numeracy for order checking and labelling
