We are seeking a skilled and motivated Recording Studio Engineer to join our creative team on a self-employed basis. About the Role
As a Recording Studio Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing recording sessions, capturing high-quality audio, and supporting artists throughout the production process. You will work with a range of musicians, vocalists, and performers across different musical styles and projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate recording equipment and studio systems
- Record, edit, mix, and assist with audio production sessions
- Ensure high-quality sound capture for vocals and instruments
- Support artists and clients during studio sessions
- Troubleshoot technical audio issues efficiently
- Maintain studio equipment and session organisation
- Collaborate with producers, musicians, and other creative professionals
Requirements
- Proven experience in recording and audio engineering
- Strong knowledge of DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, or similar
- Understanding of microphones, signal flow, mixing, and studio acoustics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage studio sessions professionally
- Flexible and reliable approach to working hours
- Music production or audio engineering qualifications beneficial but not essential
