Food Production Operative
Own Transport required.
Working Hours available :
Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm.
OR
Monday to Friday, Rotating shift - 05:30am - 13:30pm / 13:30 - 21:30pm.
PAY RATES: £12.71
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Production Operator to join our dynamic team in the food production industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of production lines while adhering to strict food safety standards.
Duties
- Operate and monitor food production equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality
- Mixing
- Decorating products
- Follow established HACCP protocols and food safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment, performing basic maintenance as necessary.
- Accurately measure ingredients and monitor production quantities using basic math skills.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Document production activities and report any discrepancies or concerns to supervisors.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food production or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of HACCP principles and food safety practices.
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot production equipment effectively.
- Basic mathematical skills for measuring ingredients and tracking production metrics.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
