Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, washrooms, and communal spaces, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and maintained to health and safety standards.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning materials as needed.
- Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain cleanliness of rubbish bins.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines at all times to ensure a secure working environment.
- Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour whilst on duty.
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and thoroughly.
- Good organisational skills to manage time effectively across multiple sites.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations related to cleaning activities is beneficial.
