We are looking for a new Playleader for our After School Club at Litchard Primary School
Hours of work: Monday – Friday (term time only) 14.45pm - 17.30pm
Salary: £13.50 - £14.00 depending on experience
Job Description:
· In charge of the day-to-day running of the wrap around and after school club, including setting up and clearing up.
· Responsibility for the safety and welfare of the children.
· Understanding and following CIW minimum standards at all times.
· Staff management.
· Some daily paperwork.
· Preparing lunch, tea, drinks and in line with club’s Healthy Eating Policy.
· Supervising play opportunities with children.
· Planning and preparation of craft activities and assisting children with these.
Qualifications:
A Level 3 qualification in Playwork or CCLD is essential.
Current First Aid and Food Hygiene Certificates an advantage.
Experience: Playwork / childcare experience with children age 3 – 11 essential.
Two references will be required at interview stage.
A full CV (with no time gaps) is required prior to interview.
