Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at The Old Deanery. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering personal care, companionship, and social stimulation to our residents, helping them maintain their individuality and independence.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities for residents.
- Support residents with medication management as required.
- Engage in meaningful conversations and activities to promote social interaction.
- Maintain accurate records of care plans and resident progress.
- Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the home is upheld at all times.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other staff members.
Requirements
- Experience in home care or a similar role is preferred.
- Keep up to date with all mandatory training.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential.
- Ability to follow care plans accurately and provide quality support.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
