Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Cook pizzas to perfection using appropriate methods and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as required
- Ensure all food is prepared efficiently and served promptly to maintain quality standards
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies are low
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times during food preparation and service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience, particularly with meal preparation in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required
- Serving experience is desirable but not essential; willingness to learn is important
