Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities, including stock handling, order fulfilment, and inventory management. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a fast-paced environment, contributing to the efficient delivery of products to our customers.
Duties
· Preparing, picking loading finished product for dispatch and unloading deliveries of raw materials at both sites,
· Ensure a high standard of warehouse cleaning & housekeeping is maintained.
· Completion of daily startup check sheets including Health and Safety checks.
· Completion of all goods in and goods out documentation, to include relevant checks.
· Complying with company hygiene policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of personal hygiene
· Demonstrating the competent application of good manufacturing practices required to consistently operate to high standards of food quality and food safety.
· Working in a safe manner with due consideration for personal Health & Safety and that of co-workers at all times
· Functioning to the best of your ability within the operations team, treating other members of staff with dignity and respect
· Complete stock checks upon request
· Completing stock rotation in unit,in all warehouses
· Making sure racking is all full and rotated
Skills
- Proven experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting
- Experience with picking & packing orders efficiently and accurately
- Ability to stock Racking systematically and maintain organised storage areas
- Attention to detail for quality control checks and inventory accuracy
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and load/unload activities throughout the shift
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to priorities tasks effectively
- MUST HAVE a Valid B1 and D1 Fork-lift licence
Pay: From £13.70 per hour
Licence/Certification:
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
