Between the Sticks GK Academy is looking for a passionate and reliable Goalkeeper Coach to join our growing team. This is a paid, part-time role for 1 hour, 1 evening per week, making it ideal for someone looking to gain coaching experience, earn extra income, or take their first step into the sports industry. No formal coaching experience is required. You'll begin by shadowing experienced coaches, learning how we deliver our sessions, before gradually assisting and leading your own small goalkeeper group as your confidence grows. Full support, mentoring and ongoing development will be provided.
Responsibilities: Assist the lead coach in delivering engaging goalkeeper training sessions. Shadow experienced coaches and learn the Between the Sticks coaching philosophy. Help set up and pack away equipment before and after sessions. Support and encourage young goalkeepers of all abilities. Gradually take responsibility for small groups as your confidence and experience develop. Ensure sessions are delivered in a safe, positive and inclusive environment. Build positive relationships with players and parents while maintaining a professional attitude. Follow safeguarding policies and academy procedures at all times. Be punctual, reliable and enthusiastic at every session. Continue developing your coaching knowledge with guidance from the academy.
Pay: From £11.00 per hour
