Energised Electrical Group based in West Lothian is seeking a skilled Electrician for Central Belt and Edinburgh area . The ideal candidate will have a have a strong background in electrical systems and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality workmanship, ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs are completed to the highest standards. must be capable of doing commercial EICR
Requirements
- Full UK manual driving license for a minimum of 12 months (Subject to insurance requirements), with a maximum of 6 points
- Qualified Electrician 18th Edition
- Ideal candidate with City & Guilds 2391 (2394/2395) inspection and testing (not essential but desirable)
- A good level of IT literacy.
- An understanding of Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace.
- IPAF and PASMA (not essential but desirable)
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in mainly, commercial, or industrial settings with limited work in residential properties
- Be proficient with EICR testing
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and building codes.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring they are used safely and responsibly.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrician.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical work is required.
- Must have previous electrical experience in, commercial, or industrial environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this position.
- A valid electrician's qualification 18th edition BS7671,
- inspection and testing 2391 (2394/2395) (not essential but desirable)
