About the Role
As a Bank Care Worker/Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes and within community settings. You will promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing while delivering care that meets each person's individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support with daily living activities.
- Assist with medication
- Support individuals to access the community and attend appointments.
- Encourage independence and promote choice.
- Maintain accurate care records.
- Work in accordance with safeguarding policies and health & safety procedures.
- Deliver compassionate, respectful, and professional care at all times.
Requirements
- Must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends where required.
- Right to work in the UK.
- An enhanced DBS check will be required (or willingness to obtain one).
