The Role
As a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a key role in delivering professional quantity surveying services from project inception through to completion. Working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, you'll lead projects, provide trusted commercial advice to clients and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for delivering a broad range of professional Quantity Surveying services, including:
- Cost planning and budget estimating
- Feasibility studies and commercial advice
- Procurement strategy and tender documentation
- Bills of Quantities preparation
- Tender analysis and contract recommendations
- Cost reporting and financial management
- Valuations and payment certification
- Change control and cost management
- Final account negotiation and agreement
- Risk and value management
- Reinstatement Cost Assessments (where applicable)
- Supporting clients throughout the full project lifecycle
- Lead projects from inception to completion
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Mentor junior surveyors and support their professional development
- Collaborate closely with Building Surveyors, Project Managers and Architectural Designers
- Contribute to business development, networking and winning new work
- Help drive continuous improvement across the business
About You
We're looking for someone who combines technical excellence with commercial awareness and enjoys working collaboratively.
You'll ideally have:
- MRICS Chartered status
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Around 5+ years' post-qualification experience within consultancy
- Strong pre- and post-contract experience
- Excellent knowledge of standard forms of contract (JCT and NEC)
- Experience delivering projects across a range of sectors
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A proactive, positive attitude and desire to help grow the business
- A full UK driving licence
Experience working within the public sector would be advantageous but is not essential.

Pay: £40,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
