Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in the care home. Responsibilities
- Assisting residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting individuals with mobility and daily activities to promote independence
- Implementing and following care plans tailored to each individual's needs
- Monitoring and reporting on residents’ health status and any changes in condition
- Engaging in meaningful activities to enhance mental and emotional wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Communicating effectively with residents, family members, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery
Experience
- Must have working care experience
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively
- Familiarity with basic IT systems for documentation purposes
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, for clear communication
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with residents and their families
- NVQ level 2 in health & social care or care certificate
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and empathy are essential qualities for success in this role
Pay: £12.71 per hour
