IWS Recruit are looking for HGV Class 1 and Class 2 drivers to join our team on Furniture Deliveries.
You’ll be out on the road delivering furniture to customers, and there will be handballing and manual handling involved on certain deliveries.
Depending on the delivery, you may also have a porter with you to help with loading, unloading and carrying furniture.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering furniture to customers across the UK.
- Will require some nights out.
- Loading and unloading furniture.
- Handballing furniture from the vehicle and carrying it into customers’ homes or premises.
- Working alongside a porter where required, who will assist with handling and carrying furniture.
- Completing daily vehicle checks.
- Providing a friendly and professional service to customers.
You’ll need:
- A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- A good attitude and reliable approach to work.
- Good communication skills and a friendly manner with customers.
- To be comfortable with regular lifting, carrying and moving of furniture.
- The ability to work well on your own and as part of a team.

Rates:
Mon to Fri - £18.50 (Inclusive of holiday pay)
£29 per night out
