As a Commercial Property Loss Adjuster, you'll manage a caseload of commercial property damage claims across the North East, from visiting customer sites, co-ordinating visits from contractors, to finally settling each claim.

Experience handling commercial property and real estate claims (experience in other fields of adjusting will be considered),
Proficiency with scoping and scheduling reinstatement works,
Technical knowledge of liability, quantum and validation, and
Experience managing a portfolio of claims including report writing and supplier management.
What is helpful, but not vital, in your application
CILA or CII qualified or international equivalent or working towards qualifications,
Experience with Delegated Authority handling up to the value of £100,000.00.
Excellent communication skills: You'll speak with and write to policyholders, insurers, contractors, and more. You’ll explain complex details clearly and negotiate fair settlements for all.
Problem-solving abilities : You should be able to identify and solve problems efficiently
Time management : As you’ll be planning your own week you must effectively manage your time, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines. You will be required to handle multiple claims simultaneously.
Have an understanding of how a home insurance policy operates and the basic make up of a commercial property.

Regular sessions on topic specific training are given through the year supplemented by online courses.
