The Role
We are seeking a qualified Water Technician to join our growing team and support Ri Cruden's high standards of quality, professionalism and innovation. This is a hands-on role working across commercial projects. All work will be completed safely and in compliance with current regulations.
- Complete a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, chemical testing, and minor plumbing works.
- Carry out routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) L8.
- Maintain customer water logbooks and complete all required documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy.
- Carry out water system cleans and disinfections in line with ACoP L8 and company procedures.
- Test, service, and maintain thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs), alongside basic plumbing works where required.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
About You
Essential experience:
- Must be located in Sutherland and Caithness area
- Plumber with SVQ level 3 or equivalent
- Water Regulations & Byelaws qualification
Desirable:
- Previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring, or Water Treatment
- Legionella ACoP L8 qualification
What we Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £14.84 to £16.50 per hour dependent on experience, providing stable monthly earnings and a strong overall package.
Overtime is paid on hours worked over the 40-hour contract term.
