Swann Facilities Management Ltd is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Linen & Laundry Assistant to join our growing team in Belmont. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality, hotel-standard linen presentation and enjoys working independently.
This is a key behind-the-scenes role supporting our Airbnb and serviced accommodation properties, ensuring all linen is cleaned, ironed, and prepared to a consistently high standard.
Hours
- Approximately 10 hours per week
- Majority of work is flexible
- Occasional flexibility may be required depending on laundry volumes
- Hours may increase as the business grows
The role includes:
- Washing, drying, folding, and ironing linen to a high, hotel standard
- Ensuring all bedding and towels are clean, fresh, and neatly presented
- Sorting and organising linen for different properties
- Checking items for damage and reporting replacements needed
- Keeping laundry areas clean and well organised
- Supporting the wider team with linen preparation for changeovers
What we’re looking for:
- Strong attention to detail – especially when ironing (essential)
- Ability to maintain consistently high standards
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently without supervision
- Good time management and organisation skills
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential
Driving
- A full UK driving licence is not essential, but would be very helpful for occasional support with collections or deliveries between properties
