Production and Despatch Operative
Tuffbau Ltd are a market leading manufacturer of specialist construction materials, working from a small manufacturing facility. We’re a small, friendly team consisting of approximately 30 staff, spread across office, production and despatch.
Role
Working primarily on the factory shop floor, you’ll be part of the production and despatch team, reporting to the Production Manager. Attention to detail is key for this role with a practical, hands-on approach to problem solving.
The factory is in continuous development, with new production lines being installed. Therefore, flexibility with regards your daily roles will be essential. You must enjoy working as part of a team and have excellent communication skills.
```Duties:```
- Logistics, service and distribution support
- Loading/unloading of lorries
- Running production lines and bagging of products
- Manual handling of the products/raw materials (25kg sacks)
- General equipment maintenance
- Assisting in stock takes
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
```Qualifications/Skills:```
- Previous experience working manufacturing/warehouse environment is essential
- Forklift truck experience and evidence of formal training is required
- Hard working, enthusiastic, flexible
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Monday to Friday, 7am, to 3pm, 9am to 5pm, 10am to 6pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£26,500.00 per year
