About the Role
Boa Fruta Produce is seeking a dependable Equipment Maintenance Technician to maintain, inspect, and repair operational equipment and machinery. The successful candidate will help minimize downtime and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective equipment maintenance.
- Inspect machinery and identify potential faults.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems.
- Repair or replace defective components.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
- Support equipment installation and commissioning.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
- Follow health, safety, and maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
- Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in equipment or industrial maintenance.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals and equipment diagrams.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
