Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Team Members to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic restaurant environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous, but a positive attitude and a passion for service are essential.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and manage reservations efficiently to optimise seating arrangements
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted and accommodated
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety standards
- Handle guest enquiries professionally, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Process payments accurately using the POS system and provide receipts as required
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a keen willingness to learn is vital
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Basic maths skills for processing transactions and managing bills
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
- Culinary or restaurant experience will be considered an advantage but is not mandatory
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required
