About the Role
Scott’s Kitchen is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Barista / Bartender to join our Front of House team.
The successful candidate will be confident working behind the bar, preparing high-quality coffee and drinks, and providing excellent customer service. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of quality coffees, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, flat white and other speciality drinks.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks, beers and wines.
- Take accurate customer orders and process payments using the till system.
- Maintain excellent standards of presentation, cleanliness and hygiene at the bar and coffee station.
- Ensure coffee machines, grinders, glassware, equipment and bar areas are kept clean and well maintained.
- Prepare drinks efficiently and consistently, particularly during busy service periods.
- Have a good knowledge of our drinks menu and be able to make recommendations to customers.
- Work closely with the kitchen and Front of House team to ensure smooth service.
- Check stock levels and inform management when products need replenishing.
- Assist with stock deliveries, rotation and storage when required.
- Follow all company procedures relating to food safety, hygiene, allergens and responsible alcohol service.
- Maintain a professional and friendly manner with customers and colleagues at all times.
- Support the wider Front of House team with clearing and resetting tables and general restaurant duties when required.
- Help maintain a clean, organised and welcoming bar and restaurant environment.

Previous barista or bartending experience is preferred, but we are also happy to consider candidates with a strong hospitality background and the right attitude. Training will be provided where required.

Hours
Hours will be agreed based on business requirements and availability. Weekend and peak-period availability is required.
