We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Motor Vehicle Tutor to join our experienced technical teaching team. What You'll Bring
- A Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) is desirable.
- Applicants with a Level 2 qualification and substantial recent industry experience will also be considered.
- Strong practical skills and up-to-date industry knowledge.
- A passion for developing and supporting learners.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
A teaching qualification is desirable; however, if you do not currently hold one, we will support you in working towards a Level 3 Teaching Qualification during your first year of employment. You'll also benefit from a structured induction programme which will iclude you shadowing experienced tutors and having the support of a dedicated mentor to start your teaching journey.

You will deliver engaging and industry-relevant learning experiences, helping students achieve their qualifications and appreniceships.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching across Motor Vehicle programmes at Levels 2 and 3.
- Inspire, motivate and support learners to achieve their full potential.
- Assess student work, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Support students' academic, practical and personal development.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of courses and curriculum.
- Maintain a safe, professional and industry-standard workshop environment.
- Keep accurate learner records and contribute to quality assurance activities.

Hours of work
Monday to Friday – 8.20am – 4.30pm (3.45pm Fridays)
With occasional evening work to support the College careers & open events.
Pay: £34,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
