Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently at the till.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the shop, including restocking shelves as necessary.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Answer customer queries promptly and professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive working environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and conducting stock checks.
Skills
- Proficient in basic maths to handle transactions and manage cash effectively.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or abilities, particularly in Spanish, are advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills to maintain an orderly shop environment.
- Ability to sell products through effective customer engagement and upselling strategies.
