Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our community pharmacy team. This could also be suitable for a newly qualified pharmacist or a pharmacist requiring a tier 2 Visa sponsorship
You will be one of three pharmacists on site and will be supported by two senior pharmacists.
Part time or newly qualified pharmacist will be considered
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for medication management, patient education, and providing expert advice on drug therapies.
Duties
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and in accordance with legal and professional standards.
- Provide comprehensive patient care by assessing medication needs and monitoring therapeutic outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimise patient treatment plans.
- Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions with other drugs.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and medication administration.
- Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and advancements in pharmacology to provide the best care possible.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to pharmacy practice.

- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to understand the effects of medications on the human body.
