We are looking for reliable and flexible Ad Hoc Cleaners to join our growing team.
This is a Zero Hours Contract, making it ideal for someone looking for flexible, part-time work. Due to the nature of our business, hours are not guaranteed and will vary from week to week depending on client requirements.
Please do not apply if you are looking for full-time or guaranteed weekly hours.
The Role
You will be required to cover a variety of cleaning assignments, including:
- Office cleaning
- Airbnb and serviced accommodation cleaning
- HMO (House in Multiple Occupation) cleaning
- Deep cleans and other commercial cleaning duties as required
Typical working hours are generally between 10:00am and 4:00pm, although start and finish times may vary depending on the day's schedule.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have a minimum of 2 years' professional cleaning experience.
- Be reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Have excellent attention to detail and maintain high cleaning standards.
- Be flexible, as shifts and working days will vary from week to week.
- Be physically fit, as the role involves lifting linen and cleaning equipment.
- Be able to travel to different client sites across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
Driving Requirement
Due to the nature of some of our contracts, there will be occasions where you will be required to collect and deliver linen between properties.
For these shifts, it is essential that you have:
- A full UK driving licence.
- Access to a reliable vehicle.
- Appropriate motor insurance that covers business use.
A petrol allowance will be paid when travelling between multiple sites during your shift.

Please Note
This is an ad hoc cleaning position. Some weeks you may receive several shifts, while other weeks there may be fewer depending on client demand. If you are looking for guaranteed weekly hours or full-time employment, this role is not suitable.
