Florabank Christian Care home are looking to recruit a part time day shift care assistant. Successful candidates will be expected to work a set pattern of shifts on a 4 week rolling rota which will include working 2 out of 4 weekends. Shifts run 7am - 2pm & 2pm - 9pm. We are looking for someone who can cover sickness and holidays. The position is for an average of 19.5 hours per week.

The candidate would ideally be SVQ2 qualified but this is not essential, however, care experience is required. Hourly rate, depending on qualification starts at £13.45 to £13.70 per hour with a weekend bonus rate of £2.00 per hour and a 12.5% cover rate in addition to hourly rate, paid for cover shifts. A free meal is provided for all staff on shift.
Applicants must be able to work weekends and be able to work extra shifts to help cover staff absence.
