Mobile Tyre Technician
(5 day working week (1 day off throughout the week)
Call-out Rota requires 1 night shift per week and 1 full weekend each month.
You will be paid extra for each call-out completed in addition to the salary agreed.
- Check, remove, replace and repair worn and damaged or defective tyres in cars, vans & 4x4 cars
- Repair punctures and ensure correct air pressures and levels in tyres
- Carry out balance and wheel alignment and tracking adjustments
- Cost out work and liaise with the customers before commencing work
- Increase revenue through up-selling to customers
- Check and order stock
- Perform basic data inputting
- Loading and unloading tyres, deliveries and equipment
- Exceed customer care standards, service and satisfaction through excellent quality of work, advice and customer interaction
- Advise customers about keeping tyres in good condition
- Communicate effectively with the Centre Manager and team
- Achieve job expectations and adhere to Company processes, policies and procedures to ensure productivity standards are met
- Identify any issues with equipment and vehicles and report to the Centre Manager at the earliest opportunity
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Centre, workshop, reception and Company vehicles
- Mechanical and visual check of Company vehicles
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, appearance and uniform
- Develop technical knowledge by attending training when required
- Participate and engage in Centre team meetings
- Understand and adhere to Company policies and procedures to ensure a safe, secure and legal work environment
- Adhere to all rules and regulations including Health and Safety obligations, requirements and the reporting of accidents
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as shall from time to time be required by the Company, Centre Manager or Assistant Manager within the competency of the role and post holder
