On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for a Personal Assistant for a 12 month contract based in London, hybrid (3 days in the office per week).
Job Description - The Role
Purpose of the role:
- We are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to provide interim support to a senior MB-1 leader within CB IB Operations & Controls.
- The successful candidate will provide proactive, high-quality administrative and organisational support in a fast-paced senior executive environment.
- The role will work closely with an experienced Senior Assistant as part of the broader support model for the MB-1 co-head structure.
What you’ll do:
- Manage a complex and frequently changing diary, prioritising effectively and resolving scheduling conflicts.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings across multiple locations and time zones.
- Organise travel, itineraries and associated logistics.
- Prepare meeting materials, agendas and briefing packs.
- Manage expenses, invoices and other administrative processes.
- Monitor correspondence and requests, following up on actions where required.
- Support leadership meetings, team events and senior stakeholder engagements.
- Liaise professionally with senior leaders, clients, colleagues and their support teams.
- Work closely with the Senior Assistant to provide consistent and effective executive support.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
The skills you’ll need:
- Proven experience supporting a senior executive, ideally at C-suite, Management Board, Executive Committee, MB-1, or equivalent level.
- Demonstrable experience within investment banking, , with an understanding of the pace, confidentiality, and stakeholder management required in these settings.
- Strong diary management, organisational, prioritisation, and administrative skills, including managing complex global calendars, international travel, and competing stakeholder demands.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, demanding environment with frequently changing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence and professionalism to build strong relationships and engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated discretion, resilience, sound judgement, and the ability to handle highly confidential information.
- Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a collaborative and team-oriented approach, including partnering closely with another Executive Assistant.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering a high standard of accuracy and service.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot, or a strong interest in leveraging AI and automation to enhance executive support, streamline administrative processes, and improve ways of working.
