Duties
- Perform routine cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure availability for staff, children and visitors
- Dispose of waste properly by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly
- Follow health and safety guidelines during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or contamination
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors for swift resolution
- Maintain a tidy workspace by organizing cleaning tools and supplies after each shift
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to safety protocols
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move around for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within designated shifts
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation is advantageous

There will also be an opportunity for extra hours during the school holidays. This will be organised between both cleaners, i'e: the timings of when you both will attend and clean. To be discussed in further details once successful.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
