Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people? As a member of the Pupils Missing Education team, you will play a vital role in addressing emotionally based school avoidance, part-time education, and children missing education. You will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed.
In this role, you will:

Collaborate with the Fair Access Team, Health Related Education Team, SEND Inclusion Support Teams, and other professionals to support vulnerable children.

Identify appropriate educational pathways to prevent children from becoming ‘missing from education’.

Support educational settings in partnering with families to engage in suitable learning opportunities.

Commission interim educational provision for Fair Access pupils who cannot access mainstream education, ensuring their progress and safety.
To excel in this role, you should have:

Relevant Level 3 qualifications, including GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.

An NVQ Level 3 qualification related to children and young people or over 5 years of experience working with vulnerable children.

Strong skills in negotiation, evaluation, and analysis.

The ability to apply specialist knowledge to analyse data and prepare reports for senior officers.
