Prep Chef / Kitchen Prep Cook (Part-Time)

£14.00 per hour | 16–20 hours per week
Working days: Sunday, Tuesday & Friday
We're looking for an organised, passionate Prep Chef to take ownership of our kitchen prep operation.
This is not a fast-paced service kitchen role. There is no cooking to order or customer-facing service. Instead, you'll work through a structured prep schedule each shift, producing high-quality food for our café counter and workplace catering programme.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing artisan sandwiches and seasonal counter food.
- Producing breakfast pots and grab-and-go items.
- Making our house components (romesco, espresso butter, dressings, sauces and more).
- Bulk preparation of salads and catering items.
- Ensuring the front counter remains fully stocked.
- Managing ingredient stock checks.
- Taking ownership of kitchen organisation, cleanliness and food hygiene.
- Maintaining consistently high presentation standards.

You'll effectively run the prep kitchen on your working days, so we're looking for someone who enjoys autonomy and doesn't need to be micromanaged.

Pay
£14.00 per hour for the right person who can take ownership of the role and consistently deliver high standards.
