Adams Morey is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our busy team at our Bell Road, Basingstoke.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and a passion for the automotive industry to develop their career with a well-established and respected commercial vehicle dealer group.
As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting our workshop and customers by ensuring the correct parts are identified, ordered, and supplied efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent customer service standards while helping to maximise parts sales and profitability.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 5.00 pm, i.e. 45 hours per week, 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8.00 am to 12.00 pm 30 minute lunch (unpaid).
Salary: £30,000 to £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience, skills and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities:
Advising customers and technicians on parts requirements.
Identifying, sourcing, and supplying vehicle parts accurately.
Processing parts orders and handling enquiries by phone, email, and in person.
Maintaining stock levels and assisting with inventory control.
Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.
Promoting parts sales and identifying upselling opportunities.
Ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times.
Working closely with the Service and Workshop teams to meet customer needs.
Ideally, we are looking for:
Previous experience in a Parts Advisor, Parts Assistant, or similar role.
Automotive, commercial vehicle, or motor trade experience would be advantageous
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Good IT and administrative skills.
A positive, team-oriented attitude.
