Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated and experienced Live- in carer to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in care and a strong understanding of the unique needs of clients, particularly those with dementia, physical disability requiring equipment for transfers, palliative care. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the quality of life for our clients while ensuring their safety and comfort in their own homes.

Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health.
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers as per their moving and handling plan.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities when necessary.
- Assist with grocery shopping where required
Experience
- Previous experience in live-in caregiving
- Have access to your own vehicle and full UK driving license
- Knowledge of dementia care practices
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols.
- Moving and handling training and ability to support clients with physical mobility challenges.
- A caring attitude with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Certification in first aid or CPR is advantageous
