Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, providing excellent service to our patrons. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering memorable customer experiences, possess a friendly demeanour, and have a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided. This position is paid and suitable for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy socialising.
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to customers at the brasserie, function suite or the Half Way House.
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Ensure all alcohol service complies with licensing laws and responsible serving policies
- Replenish stock as needed, including glasses, garnishes, and beverages
- Ensuring the function suite is set up ready for future events.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and address any queries or concerns
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Person/Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is desirable
- Must be of Legal age to serve alcohol 18+
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities, adaptable and willing to learn.
- Good basic maths skills for handling payments and transactions accurately
- Knowledge of restaurant or bar operations is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively environment
- Friendly personality, approachable, with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining a professional and respectful attitude
- Barista training is an advantage

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
