Job Summary
We are looking for an ambitious, results-driven Sales Assistant to support our business development and growth initiatives. This is a highly active, client-facing role focused on expanding our presence within allocated territories through direct customer engagement, relationship building, and strategic sales activity.
The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working independently in the field, and be confident engaging potential customers face-to-face. This role offers hands-on exposure to sales, territory management, and account development, with clear opportunities for progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out field-based sales activity within assigned territories, engaging directly with new and existing customers
- Build and manage strong customer relationships through professional, consultative conversations
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and lead generation
- Deliver clear and engaging product presentations, highlighting key benefits and upselling where appropriate
- Support brand awareness and market growth through consistent, high-quality customer interactions
- Accurately record customer information, activity, and outcomes
- Work closely with management to support sales strategies and achieve performance targets
- Negotiate and secure customer agreements in line with company guidelines
- Maintain detailed records of daily activity, territory performance, and results
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in face-to-face sales, field sales, direct sales, or customer-focused roles
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working independently within a structured territory
- Ability to present products clearly and handle objections professionally
- Organised, self-motivated, and target-driven
- A proactive mindset with a strong work ethic and resilience
- Interest in sales, business development, or account management
- Knowledge of sales environments is desirable
