Job Title: Warehouse Operative – Full Time
William Smith 1832 Ltd has been established in Barnard Castle for over 190 years and is a leading manufacturer of signs and a key distributor of vinyl products throughout the UK. We are looking to strengthen our warehouse team with a dedicated and flexible Warehouse Operative.
What you will do:
· Check incoming deliveries and sort stock for storage within the warehouse
· Check stock in and out via a warehouse management system
· Pick orders with the use of high-level order pickers
· Pack vinyl material into suitable boxes and ensure they are securely sealed for despatch
· Slit rolls of vinyl material to customer specifications
· Rewind vinyl materials ready to be returned to stock
· Load and unload pallets
About you
Essential:
· A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
· The ability to work well within a team
· Adaptability and flexibility
· The ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment
· To have a full UK driving licence
· Basic computer literacy
Desirable:
· Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
