The Head Teacher and Governing Body are seeking a reliable and hard-working Midday Supervisor to work as part of the lunchtime team, which supports the smooth running of lunchtimes throughout the school. The successful applicant will have a pleasant personality, will be able to support children during meal times and out on the yard at play time.
Main duties
To be responsible, under the direction of the Headteacher/Business Manager/ Senior mid-day supervisor, individually and as a member of the team, for securing the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the midday break
The supervision of pupils in the dinning hall, playground and school premises.
Additional duties
Cleaning up in the event of a child being ill
Assisting the children with their meals
Ensuring good table manners
Ensuring the maintenance of good order and discipline
Dealing with minor injuries and reporting all accidents to the Headteacher or senior Mid-day Supervisor
Encouraging purposeful activities and games
Pay: £2,808.41 per year
