Part-Time / Self-Employed Handyman

Carefuge Ltd is looking for a reliable, experienced, and trustworthy Part-Time or Self-Employed Handyman to carry out maintenance, repairs, and general property upkeep across our supported living properties.
We are looking for someone who can build a long-term working relationship with our company. The ideal candidate will be flexible and available when needed, including being able to attend urgent maintenance issues at short notice where possible.
Responsibilities
* General property maintenance and repairs
* Basic carpentry
* Painting and decorating
* Basic plumbing
* Basic gas and electrical knowledge (non-certified tasks only)
* Changing locks, handles, and minor fittings
* Assembling furniture and carrying out small installations
* Identifying and reporting maintenance issues
* Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
Requirements
* Previous handyman or property maintenance experience
* Good all-round DIY and repair skills
* Reliable, punctual, honest, and professional
* Able to work independently and manage your workload
* Flexible and available when required, including for urgent call-outs where possible
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle preferred
