SRC UK strives to find unique and creative solutions to our customers' challenges. We are currently recruiting a Junior Intelligence Data Analyst to join our Analysis department. Successful applicants will use specialist software and tools to conduct data analysis. After a period of training, you will help SRC UK continue to solve the challenging issues of next generation mission data development.
Duties
- Support analysis, software development, data modelling and testing of mission data for the defence of UK assets.
- Assist the programming of current and next generation electronic detection and protection systems.
- Evaluate the performance of these systems with live, virtual and constructive recreations of tactical environments.
- Conduct all-source intelligence research and engineering analysis to characterise non-communications radar systems performance and capability.
Skills
- Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or related technical field.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment, to think independently and overcome technical challenges.
- Ability to support technical analysis of complex data sets.
- A keen interest in emerging technologies and exploitation of open-source data with an ability to grasp technical concepts.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision.
- A willingness to work alongside the Ministry of Defence and industry partners.
