Tamar Fresh Ltd offers a thrilling opportunity for a Full-Time Vegetable Production and Manufacturing Assistant within our family-operated food service operation in Saltash, Cornwall.
This role offers a 40-hour workweek, distributed across 5 shifts.
Working week consist of 5 shifts: Monday to Friday 6pm to 2am.
Days off include Saturday and sunday.
As a Vegetable Preparation Assistant, you will primarily engage in the preparation of vegetables along a production line. This involves using a range of production machinery and equipment, as well as manual order preparation, including knife work, labeling, and accurate order storage. All tasks are to be executed in accordance with our established protocols and stringent food safety standards. The position necessitates substantial manual handling, requiring the prospective candidate to comfortably lift and carry 25kg products on a regular basis.
To excel in this role, we are in search of individuals who possess a keen eye for detail, adeptness at working swiftly and efficiently, a positive demeanor, the ability to perform under high-pressure circumstances, and comfort with prolonged periods of standing during each shift.
