Salary: £25,057 - £28,994 (includes 4 sleep-in shifts per month).
Hours: 37.5 hours a week, flexible shifts. Some weekend and sleep-in shifts required.

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced support worker to join our friendly and supportive team at Glenlyn, Exminster. This is a lovely 8 bed home set in its own gardens providing 24hr support for the residents who have either a mental illness, learning disability or autistic spectrum disorder. The home is registered with CQC to provide personal care. Working under the guidance of an on-site Service Manager and Deputy Manager this is a lovely opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their management skills in a regulated service.
About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you'll help our clients live fulfilling and independent lives. You’ll work both one-to-one and as part of a team, supporting individuals to achieve their goals, build confidence, and thrive in their communities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing individualised care and enabling support based on clients’ goals and needs.
- Provide support and supervision with clients' medication.
- Helping clients engage in meaningful activities like cooking, arts & crafts, exercise, or volunteering.
- Supporting clients in carrying out their activities of daily living.
- Supporting clients to access local groups and community resources.
- Carry out individual need/risk assessments; develop person centred support/care plans with clients and others involved in their support/care; and carry out regular reviews, ensuring excellent standards and successful outcomes for clients.
- Ensuring safety and wellbeing through consistent monitoring and recording processes.
- Promoting dignity, independence, and a positive daily routine
