At Little Lane Nursery, we're not a large nursery chain. We're a family-run nursery where children are known, families are valued, and our team genuinely feels like family.
Based in the heart of Stamford, we provide a warm, nurturing, home-from-home environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We're looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team and help create magical learning experiences for our children every day.
One of the things that makes Little Lane special is our size. We care for just 46 children across four rooms, creating a warm, home-from-home environment where children are known as individuals and staff have the opportunity to build genuine relationships with both children and families.

The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll play an important role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing, helping them to grow into confident, curious and happy learners.
You will:
- Deliver high-quality care and learning in line with the EYFS
- Create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment
- Plan and deliver exciting activities and learning opportunities
- Observe, assess and support children's development
- Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Support children's independence, confidence and school readiness skills
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery procedures
- Work as part of a supportive and collaborative team
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 2 will be considered with relevant experience)
- Has previous nursery or early years experience
- Has a genuine passion for supporting children to thrive
- Is warm, caring and approachable
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Has excellent communication skills
- Is enthusiastic, positive and proactive
