Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, proactive and personable Centre Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our centre, providing excellent guest services, and supporting management in daily activities. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop skills in management and hospitality within a dynamic environment. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with their enquiries to ensure a positive experience
- Support management in daily operations, including scheduling and administrative tasks
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the centre’s common areas
- Assist with event organisation and set-up as required
- Handle guest feedback professionally, escalating issues when necessary
- Manage bookings and reservations efficiently using the centre’s booking system
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service delivery and operational efficiency
Skills
- Strong organisational and management skills to oversee daily activities effectively
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on delivering outstanding guest services
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally with visitors and team members
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Friendly demeanour with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience or interest in hospitality or guest services is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for all aspects of the role

This position is paid at National Living Wage rates below:
- Age 21+ (National Living Wage): £12.71/hr
- Age 18–20: £10.85/hr
- Age 16–17: £8.00/hr
