The Nursery is currently looking to recruit a Deputy Manager to cover maternity leave and join our team for up to a 12 month period from January 2026. The Deputy Manager will work alongside and support the Nursery Manager to ensure outstanding child development within our Early Years setting. The position is for 40 hours a week, compressed over 4 days between 7.30am and 6pm although part time hours will also be considered.
The successful applicant will have the ability to lead and inspire a highly dedicated team of Early Years Practitioners in planning for each child's individual needs, enhancing quality teaching delivered at the highest level throughout our modern and well-resourced setting.
You will lead by example, remain calm under pressure and be a good problem solver. Applicants who wish to apply for the role must hold an up to date and recognised minimum Level 3 childcare qualification, at least three years childcare experience and two years in a leadership role.
