Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Thermal Insulation Engineer to join our innovative construction and engineering team. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed insulation plans based on project schematics, specifications, and client requirements
- Install, inspect, and maintain thermal insulation materials on various structures including roofs, walls, pipes, and HVAC systems
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure proper integration of insulation systems within overall project designs
- Conduct site assessments to determine appropriate insulation solutions and troubleshoot installation issues promptly
- Ensure all insulation work complies with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to execute installation tasks efficiently
- Document all work processes through detailed reports, including schematics and inspection logs
Skills
- Strong knowledge of roofing, plumbing, masonry, carpentry, plastering, and construction painting techniques
- Experience with welding, fabrication, and the use of hand tools and power tools in construction settings
- Familiarity with electrical systems and schematics relevant to insulation applications
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Practical experience in construction experience including site preparation and safety protocols
- Knowledge of industry standards related to thermal insulation materials and installation practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs
